Total time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Yield: 12-15 pieces
25 g yeast
5 dl water
2 tsp salt
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 carrots, finely grated
1 apple, finely grated
3 dl finely rye flour
10-11 dl flour
Put the yeast in a mixing bowl.
Take a small pot, heat the water until lukewarm. Pour the water over the yeast and stir with a
spoon to combine for 1 minute.
Add the canola oil, carrot, apple. Stir with a spoon to combine. Add the rye flour and finally add the flour.
Mix until you get a soft dough. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and leave for 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into 12-15 pieces. Shape them into round balls. Place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and let them rise under a clean towel for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 250C.
Brush each bread with water. Bake the bread in the oven for 9-13 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 30-45 minutes.
Enjoy the bread with butter and cheese.
